Jane wanted to be polite and all. She asked me if I minded. I said no, so off she went. It seemed kind of queer to be saying goodnight to her in her own house! Anyhow, I stayed and watched a movie with Mrs. Carber till about 1:00. She made me some coffee. She told me to call home but I said they'd be asleep. She's pretty damn nice. I didn't see any cops on the way home and nobody heard me come in. Whew! | ||
