November 19, Monday, 1962. New Haven, Conn. Snavely's Journal

This morning, for a change, I really did not feel too bad when I woke up. Except for one fact. Goddam Lawrence had opened the living room windows to the fullest to get some "fresh air" and it was freezing cold. When the alarm went off at seven I got up and turned on the radiator and closed the windows. "Asshole," I told him. I got back in bed just to warm up. If it hadn't been so damn cold I wouldn't have missed breakfast. Slept through English. Howie and Bill and I went to lunch, and I decided to cut Philosophy. We came back, and I decided to reorganize my whole system.
