Betty Lou Kratoville
My mother, Betty Lou (Rarey) Kratoville, lives in Novato, California, about 25 miles north of San Francisco. She works four days a week at a small publishing company near her home. In addition to me and my sister, Courtney, she has three sons from her third marriage - Jason, Matthew, and Timothy. Betty Lou lives about a half-hour from me and my family and, depending on who's home when, we all hang out a lot together, including most major holidays, and regular retreats to the coast or mountains, as well as occasionally more ambitious trips.
