The [Hicks] tribute page portrays the essence of my memories of Damon very much (great photos too).

I agree with David Manley's insight about his unselfish nurturing, as I was also an apprentice to Damon. We share the loss now, as we each were privileged to share in the generosity of his friendship. He was a patient and encouraging mentor to me in a world and a time where there is precious little of that energy.

My life is fuller and better for having known him.
